The first teaser trailer "Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy" (2011) In the bleak days of the Cold War, espionage veteran George Smiley is forced from semi-retirement to uncover a Soviet agent within MI6's echelons. Hardy plays the rough-and-tumble Ricki Tarr, who unwittingly sets off the alarms about a Russian mole buried deep in British intelligence. Producer Tim Bevan, who made the film for Working Title and Optimum Releasing, said that Hardy 'looks like a young Robert Redford in the film'.
